Saved our puppy’s life with professionalism and compassion. We came here for a second opinion after we poured thousands of dollars into our acutely ill puppy after being told to wait and see and take more radiographs. Dr. Marcelo took us in, showed me both the radiographs and the ultrasound; fully explaining what he was seeing. We were never shown these from the emergency vet nor our primary veterinarian. He took him back to surgery within the hour and his team kept me updated during surgery and post surgery. Consultation upon picking up our pup was thorough- he even showed us a video of the procedure, fully explaining what was done and why. We have received multiple follow-up calls where his team checked in on our pups progress. You don’t get this level of care with just any veterinarian

Dr. Marcelo was very uncaring during our visit to check out our cat that had just spent multiple days in the emergency vet. He was quick and we feel he did not look at the case fully before giving us more (and increased doses of) prescriptions. He was so in a hurry to leave, he looked annoyed when we had questions about our cat. Our cat ended up dying because the doses he gave were too high and fluid ended up in his lungs. We even called the vet to double check about the dosing because it was so much higher than the emergency vet prescribed 2 days prior and the person we spoke to stood by it, not even sure they talked to the doctor again about our questions. We called to cancel the appointment and they literally said "yeah, we heard he died and already cancelled the appointment" and hung

I am thankful for the amazing staff and their expertise in a recent situation with my puppy. They handled him with care and clearly spelled out treatment options and costs. What I appreciate most is the follow up phone calls to check on his progress. Happy to report he is doing well!

We were having problems with our greyhound and her eating. Sara went above and beyond in helping us, to include the usual checking with the vet, but also calling and talking to a tech at Hill’s to confirm what we thought was a change in the prescription food. Sara was very professional and followed up with phone calls a couple of times. Great service!!!

Dr. Melivilu, and all the staff at Meadow Branch Animal Hospital, took great care of my dog, Patsy. She needed a canine tooth extraction and they handled it with detail and care - couldn’t recommend enough!
