Our dog was hit by a car and we initially took her to SAGE and had an overall negative experience that had us out over $8K by the time we landed back at her needing a full leg amputation. SAGE wanted an additional $10-12K just for the amputation, so we desperately started calling places all over Northern California from Davis down to Salinas to see if someone could treat our sweet girl for less money in less than 24 hours. His case was complex and carried a high risk of complications — yet today, he is living his best life with a fully functional front leg. Bugsy suffered a severe and complicated front-leg injury, snapping his radius and fracturing his ulna after a fall from a tall cat tree. We were deeply concerned that amputation might be the only option.
