Very clean and well kept. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Take great care of their animals they have there.

We adopted a kitten a few weeks ago, he is in really good health with no behavioural issues at all. The lady who helped us was very kind and friendly. We are so happy to have local shelters.

We're lucky to have this Humane Society. At a time when state regulations are crippling shelters all over and costs are skyrocketing, the manager and staff are working hard in an often thankless situation to take care of as many animals as possible. Recently they've started a program for affordable spay/neuters that should help a lot of pet owners. We've gotent several of our cats from the Humane Society over the years and always been treated well. Massena needs this shelter and the shelter needs our support.

$400 for a pit mix puppy seems steep, especially since the reason given to me was all the veterinary costs. This is just more than I feel is fair to adopt a mix breed dog of unknown health and background. In addition, the person who I spoke with was so defensive about the cost and didn't seem to care about getting it adopted.
