I had a consultation with Dr Mitchell Kaye after learning my dog is no longer in remission from cancer. I found Dr Kaye to be thoughtful and so patient with me throughout all of my questions and asking him to repeat things. He was assertive and confident when offering treatment options and continued to show kindness and the same patience when I asked for more details. He helped me to clearly understand risks and benefits which is important to me during this challenging time. What stuck with me most is Dr Kaye’s calm demeanor, compassion and honesty throughout the consultation. So far, I feel lucky that I was guided here and plan to place my little guy in his care. I feel terrible saying this: In the most unfortunate, unlucky and unhappy (hopefully never) circumstance that your beloved pet

We are so fortunate to have this incredible hospital in our state. Our beloved dog Riley had not been feeling well and a trip to our vet unexpectedly resulted in admittance to a local hospital, and then a transfer hours later to Mass Veterinary Referral Hospital for emergency care with cardiology specialists. We were scared, nervous, and tired -- now at a hospital that was over an hour away from our home very late at night. All of the staff from the front desk, technicians, doctors, and nurses went above and beyond. They were calming, compassionate, and consistently provided detailed explanations, treatment plans, and updates. After a 5 night stay and surgical procedure, our dog is back home and healing well. A special thank you to Drs. Sosa, Harmon, Pedroso, McDermott, nurse Molly, and ma

I couldn’t say enough about the care my 3yo dog received from Mass Vet after he needed emergency abdominal foreign body retrieval surgery. It was unexpected and scary and the entire staff has been very professional, compassionate and responsive. Whether it was the front desk staff answering my many questions or the surgeon and nurse’s follow up calls to check in, make sure I was informed timely and had questions answered - the patience, kindness and care that they’ve have extended has been top notch. They have also been really helpful in assisting me through the Pet Insurance reimbursement process. Our little guy means the world to us so it’s comforting to know we’re close to great pet care.

I have had two amazing experiences here! I feel so comfortable leaving my dog here with the amazing doctors and staff it’s like a weight lifts off my shoulders knowing he’s in good hands! I Absolutely adored Dr. Moore she was knowledgeable down to earth and so easy to talk to, so helpful answering all my questions and just an amazing vet can’t say enough great things about her or this amazing place! They are all angels 👼🏼

They were extremely knowledgeable and took the best care of my chow chow. My dog had an issue with his left eye and after sedation it was determined that it was most likely caused by cancer. They asked if they could perform a chest x-ray to see if there were any signs of cancer in his lungs. No signs of anything in his lungs, so they proceeded with the surgery and now we hope and pray for the best. I know that dogs don't live forever at least I know my little buddy isn't in pain anymore. I'm praying for him to fully recover. His breed has squinting eyes so when his fur grows back he should look fine.
