Ledgebrook Kennel

Ledgebrook kennel takes amazing care of my dog! He is always so excited and happy to be there. They separate the dogs into groups for play and they all get one on one attention as well. The kennel is well organized and the staff are all incredibly sweet. They have a veterinary clinic on site that we have used many times to help care for injury or ailment for our dog. The staff at the clinic are great as well. They also have a groomer on site.

Showed up during the drop off window for boarding (having booked months in advance and confirmed a few days before) and no one was there. Dogs barking but no answer to the door bell, knocking, calling, emailing, even walking around the kennel where the dogs were and calling for someone. Needless to say, this is not the way you want to start a week long vacation scrambling to find a backup option.

We have been taking our dog here twice a week for over two years and he loves it! He always comes home happy and tired. I love having the peace of mind knowing it is connected to a vet in case something happens. Also, he often gets vaccines or a vet visit during doggie daycare which is very convenient because we don’t have to take work off to bring him.

I have been taking my puppy here for several months and for us this has been a great experience. My puppy is very high energy and because my husband and I both work we decided to give daycare a try. It is on my way to work which a huge convenience. Cooper is always tired when he gets home. The staff has been nothing but pleasant to us. I do believe the extras you can add to the day are a little pricey, but I go else where for those so it's not a problem.

Our dog stayed here over April vacation. He is an energetic boy and was signed up for doggie daycare while boarding. We received a call early in the week that he was bitten by another dog. The person told us that it was a minor injury so I wasn't worried. The vet called to say that she placed a couple of staples. When we picked him up we found that he received 5 staples and the gash was almost 2 inches long. That is not a "minor injury" and we were incredibly surprised that it was described that way. Also shocked that they weren't watching over the dogs who were playing more carefully.
