Maryland Canine Academy

We've been working with trainers Wendy, Kirsten, Shana, Vicki, and Grace since 2021! Our two dogs, a little 20 pound Miniature Pinscher/Cattle Dog mix who was a rescue at 10 wks old from Kentucky, and our 6 yr. old Golden Retriever, both love all of the trainers! They go out of their way to help you with your dog. They are also very flexible with any of your needs. With their help, both of our dogs have earned several titles from the AKC!

I’ve had a blast prepping for an upcoming obedience competition with MCA. There aren’t many places that have options for continuing training and guidance on sports, so it’s nice that I can schedule when needed for what I’m currently working towards. We’ve also been sharpening our scent work skills here in the evenings as well. I highly recommend checking out Maryland Canine Academy for training tailored to your needs.

Kirsten, Wendy, Shana and Trinity have been amazing to work with! They have helped so much in not only building mine and my dog’s confidence through training and getting ready to trial, but also helped us build a better bond together. Their grooming is also top notch! I’m so grateful to be training with them for the last 2 years and look forward to continuing!

I've only had great experiences with the trainers at Maryland Canine Academy. My dog Nessie and I have completed multiple classes now including scent, agility, manners and public proofing. It's always a positive, non-judgemental, learning experience for both of us and has strengthened our bond. The trainers are so knowledgeable and have an innate sense of dog behavior, and take the time to both teach, and find out what your goals are for you and your dog. We have been using Kirsten for years to train and board our Aussie. Maya is always super excited to see Kirsten and loves to board with her. It’s so fun to see Maya wrestle around with Kirsten’s four dogs. She always learns a new behavior cue which is helpful. I highly recommend Kirsten’s facility
