So apparently racism is alive and well in good ole Deridder. Now she normally says some off the wall, inappropriate things but whatever she’s a little older speaking her mind no problem. However, today will be the last time we use her. My daughter goes in with my wife bringing one of the dogs in. She says “oh is that black girl your daughter?” My wife responds, that’s my step daughter. “Oh you married a black?” No I didn’t my husbands ex wife is black. “oh thats an infatuation he must have finally came to his senses.” Ms Marian you are lucky I was raised to respect my elders and luckier my daughter wasn’t in there when you said what you said. The staff was amazing . Prices were very reasonable. I had brought in our White king German Shepard in. He came back smelling amazing , even had a cute red bandanna around his neck, his shedding was under control again, his due was so white. He was so happy after too. Pranced around the house like the king he is lol. But for them to have managed a huge dog like him was impressive and his ears were spotless.

I dropped off my golden retriever at 11am. Expecting to take a few hours but not over 7!! I called around 4 to see if he was ready soon at which time they told me he had only been bathed…called back again after 5. Not even groomed?! At 6 I went to pick him up and they made me continue to wait as they rushed trimming his hair. If they were too busy to get to my dog in a timely manner I would have been willing to reschedule. We will NOT return.

I had an appt at 1 and was there B4 time I jerked on my pup at 3 and he was not touched yet. He is 10 wks old I needed his ears and undercarriage done. @ 4:30 I picked him up and pd $43 . All that was done was his undercarriage. Will not be going back. And suggest if you do go have all day and don't expect good work.
