After recently relocating from ATX, and needing to establish vet care in a new state, I felt the need to give a HUGE shout out to Manchaca Road Animal Hospital - and Dr. Walker specifically. Our senior dog was a patient of Dr. Walker’s for over 5 years. From arthritis, to skin infections, a splenectomy(!), and dental surgery - it’s safe to say, we received a LOT of care here. Every visit was attentive, kind, and thorough. Whenever we were nervous about our pup’s procedures, we always felt comfort knowing she was in good hands with Dr. Walker - as well as with all of the techs and staff. Took a dog I was training in for an Interstate health certificate. Staff was super friendly and very accommodating. Dr. Walker was very attentive to the dog and was very pleasant. I will use them again! Photo of the dog, but not at the vet clinic.

Have lived in many states and seen many vets through the years, and Dr Rojo and the MRAH team really take the cake. Can’t imagine trusting our dog with anyone else! They are thorough, kind, and reassuring as we help our senior pup age as gracefully as possible.

I took my two cats to this clinic for over 10 years and had nothing but excellent experiences. My boys lived to be 18 and 19, both with chronic conditions like IBD, hyperthyroidism and kidney disease. Everyone is friendly and easy to work with. My cats primarily saw Dr Rojo, but I remember Dr. Walker being there the day I took one of them in because he wasn't eating. Long story short, she and the team saved his life and ended up giving me four more years with him I might not have had otherwise. Dr. Rojo always took the time to explain their bloodwork and other test results and give me options on what to do. Dr. Walker and the entire staff are absolute perfection.They are all very dedicated to helping all the animals and their humans feel supported and cared for. They go above and beyond to do the very most they can to ensure the best health and safety for the animals. I am a long-time dog rescue person and I wish I had this support team in my life years ago. Thankful to have found them now and will never leave!!!
