This place is 100 star rated! This pet store is the only one in the world where the pets are not drugged to sleep. They have REAL exotic pets and many of them too. I'm blown away by the service and selection of pets/exotic pets they have here. They have chameleons, bunnies, fish, hedgehogs, snakes, scorpions, parakeets, lizards plus way more. STAY VERY CLEAR FROM THIS SHOP. Shop NJ Exotic Pets for all of your animas needs instead. People who actually CARE for animals. I purchased a Whites Tree Frog (AKA Dumpy Frog) on December 2nd, 2025. I’ve never had a frog before to begin with so I thought it was a healthy frog since it’s an exotic pet store and I thought they were good people. I also had an enclosure that I got so I already had all the essentials ready for a frog. Fast forward to TODAY being December 18th, 2025, my frog has sadly passed away. The day I brought it home, I saw that the frog was green with some brown spots. I thought this was normal so I put it in the enclosure, left some crickets in there, gave it the right temp and humidity and went on with my day. Great selection of reptiles and fish, some you can't find anywhere else. Awesome and reasonably-priced food and tank supplies for reptiles. Reptile prices were a little higher compared to corporate stores on reptiles, but they had more options and varieties, too. Good number of people working in this store, too, so always someone around to help you.

Major League Exotics has become my go-to spot for anything aquarium related. I’ve been in and out of fish stores for years, and these guys are honestly on a different level. Alan and Scott have taken incredible care of me — they’re knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Whether I needed advice on stocking, filtration, food, or troubleshooting tank issues, they were right there with solid guidance and never tried to oversell me. They’ve helped make my aquarium setup healthier, cleaner, and way more enjoyable. You can tell they actually care about the animals and their customers, and that’s rare these days. I have to say alot of people are saying the frogs they bought died and there pets died they got but I know the owner and he wouldn't do that, he is very kind and I have my own lizard. His name is komodo in perfect condition, maybe eats to much though.
