I had such a wonderful experience working with Kat! She was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding with my 1yr old Maltese. Our main challenges were her loud barking and tugging on walks whenever she saw other dogs. Within just three sessions, Kat helped me learn the proper techniques to walk her with more control and confidence. I’ve already seen such a big difference! She is such a happy girl full of life, but now we both have the skills to continue improving together. I’m so grateful for Kat’s guidance and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate and knowledgeable dog trainer! 🐶💛

I heard about Kat and her training through a local mom group after adopting our dog. Her pricing was very reasonable compared to other trainers and our dog, Cooper, learned so much in the 3 sessions we had! Kat is very communicative and professional ! She also provides you with all written resources to keep up with the success of training your puppy! She made me as well as my children (8&5) much more comfortable in working with our new pup! I am grateful for finding her and feel comfortable to reach out again if I have any questions or need further training!

Kat is awesome! She helped us work with our super energetic pitbull puppy Milo and came up with some really creative ways to keep him entertained. She also showed us how to walk him properly and catch the signs before he gets too excited or barking at other dogs and bikes, which used to be a nightmare. Thanks to her, walks are way calmer now, and we feel way more confident handling him. Definitely recommend her if you want a trainer who’s knowledgeable and easy to work with!

Kat, from MadKat Dog Training was a pleasure to work with. She is calm, patient and easy to talk with. She is professional, punctual and sends a confirmation of your next visit. She listens to what you want to work on with your dog, as well as all of the basic commands. She comes prepared with rewards for your dog. She believes in using positive reinforcement for her training. Everything is modeled and worked on during her visits. She also leaves you with paper copies of what and how to train your dogs so that you can practice until your next session. I found that extremely helpful. After her first visit I saw an immediate change in my puppy. Kat also teaches you the importance of mental exercises for your dog. Kat is all around amazing! We had the best experience from the start. Our puppy took to her immediately and she’s the perfect combination of human/animal expertise. She was easy to get in touch with, always responsive, friendly, humorous, gracious, professional and relatable (among many other things!). She acclimated to our family and followed up. I liked that she offered a free consult and stated her pricing clearly. I highly recommend her and she’s even thanked me for all the times I have tagged her on social media. Kat also teaches classes and shares that information to her clients. Although we completed the trainings I hope we are able to stay in touch because she’s paw-some!
