Lyons Veterinary Clinic

Had my 2nd dental cleaning done for my chihuahua mix (5 yrs 11months) and Lyons Vet was amazing. So easy to schedule the appointment, they work with me, my dog is anxious and doesn’t do well at the vet and they make the process as smooth as possible. I really appreciate how much they accommodate for my dog to diminish as much stress as possible. Workers are very friendly, definitely not an easy job and yet they are still so kind. I’m about 25 minutes away but will continue to use Lyons Vet, they’ve been amazing.

This is the kind of veterinary practice every pet owner hopes to find. Dr. Draper and the entire team are friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely compassionate. They take the time to explain everything clearly and treat each animal with real care and respect. I always leave feeling that my pet received the best possible care. I am very grateful to have Dr. Draper as our vet.

Lyons Vet Clinic offers exceptional down to earth care. My lab lived a great quality of life for 14 years with Dr Charlotte as her primary doctor. I don’t think her life would have been nearly as high quality without Lyons Vet! Today I took one of my other dogs in for some diagnostic work for an intermittent lameness. Dr Charlotte took the time to go over every possible detail. I truly appreciate how I never feel rushed, always leave feeling heard and that my dog’s psychological experience is considered. I was there for almost an hour today and I could hear the conversations of most of the staff behind the desk. No one used a harsh voice. No complaining. Lyons Vet is a great small, local clinic who we take both of our dogs to. We don't bring them in often but when we do, we never feel taken advantage of and always feel like they gave our pups the best care! Just last week, they saved our 8yr old Great Dane's life after it was found that for 4 days he had a 180° mesenteric torsion. The xray was inconclusive about whether a torsion was present so the initial thought was to send him home with antibiotics due to a bad case of gastritis. Dr. Hamilton looked at the xray again and felt there was a good chance it was a torsion. He was willing to do the surgery right then and there and we're so thankful that we said yes, do it!! Five days later and our big, brave boy is getting back to himself like nothing ever happened.
