Humane Society of Wayne County

I adopted the most precious little cat here. She was free because she had been there so long. Shy little thing but the sweetest baby who quickly bonded with my other cat. The staff know the animals and their temperaments so well. Would definitely adopt from here again!

My wife and I have been donated to society occasionally over the years by mailing a check. However this year at Christmas we decided after seeing their request in the Wayne county times for donations for raising the woof that we would give online. Unfortunately they only except PayPal and not say Visa or any other form of online payments. We will however mail another check but I am wondering on how many donations the humane society might be missing out on because they only except PayPal.

I can't say enough good things about the people caring for the animals here. I described to them our household and what we were looking for in another cat. They knew the personalities of each of the cats in their care and introduced me to the ones they thought would be a fit. We are so happy with our sweet Noah. He has fit right in with our family with such ease. Thank you for all you do to help find homes for animals in need!

I fell in love with this kitten Mario (now Asteroid) I first saw him at PetSmart in victor and when I went back to get him PetSmart said he was adopted but I refused to give up and I called the humane society, I explained how much I loved him and I got to take him home within a couple days! The adoption process was quick and the ladies at the humane society were very nice and helpful!

The staff at the Wayne humane society are wonderful friendly and very helpful I've had my cat tiger for about a month now the great little kitty he's everything that they said he was everything that they said he was I would definitely recommend this place Tigger is the name of my cat
