Lucky Bones Country Club

we’ve used Lucky bones for over nine years and they have truly been awesome! We’ve used their boarding, daycare and grooming services over that nine years. All the staff truly love the animals and treat them as part of their family. We first started to go in there our female Doberman, Marley, was hesitant to go inside. It wasn’t too long that she couldn’t wait to get in and see the staff and the other dogs. The owner, Amber, and her husband, along with the rest of the staff, truly run a great operation. We highly recommend them.

I will never be bringing my dog back here. He had been once before to be groomed, so his vaccination records *should* have been there—they weren’t, so they could not complete the services we asked for. In fact, they had him under a completely different owner’s name. We didn’t think anything of it, no big deal. But then we were informed he was showing aggression toward the groomer, which has never happened ANYWHERE else. Hearing that made me question how he was being treated while I wasn’t there. Today, 5/21, he went to the vet for some issues. The vet lifted up his ears to find these marks where the groomer cut his skin. The vet assured us that this was the work of clippers—not him scratching. All in all, it was a terrible experience and I don’t think anyone else would want their dog tr

I had boarded my dog here before and was only asked to provide vaccination information; which I did. This is all I have ever been asked for at other boarding locations. This time, they asked for fecal test results. I have never been asked this by any boarding facility. They waited until the last minute to tell me this. I had to take my wife for medical testing out of state. There was no way I could comply. They could care less. Do not board your dog here. I highly recommend Grand Resort on Main Street downtown Mount Airy.

We have been taking our two king Charles cavaliers here for several years now for grooming. While the front desk staff changes frequently, the grooming of our dogs has always been excellent, as well as the friendliness and professionalism of all who we have met who work there. Lucky Bones is exceptionally clean and I highly recommend this place for dog grooming.

I took my little dog to be boarded and groomed to lucky bones. We picked her up after after a 4 day 9stay. They said she was passing blood in her stool and that it probably just her nerves . After getting her home she seemed traumatized She drank water like she had not had any in a while. She had a sore on her buttocks and cont to bleed when we got home it was pouring out of her buttocks. She continued to be withdrawn the whole evening. I called the owner next day she explained to me they had put my dog in a crate next to the desk to keep her clean since she had been groomed, she stated maybe my dog got the sore from the crate.I am very upset my dog was treated in this manner. This was cruel. My dog is okay now but I will never forget how she was that day, no excuse for them.
