Love Overboard Kennels & Grooming

Used Love Overboard for my 10 year old schnoodle who had never been boarded at a kennel before so I was naturally a little nervous especially since he’s on a strict diet however, they were great!! They were so flexible on staying past hours for me to pick him up the day I got back and they took him with only a day notice. Definitely great value. Highly recommend! He also came back smelling nice and seems normal. Thanks Love Overboard!

I brought my dog in for grooming and when she came home she had been cut and scraped by the clippers around her nose and was bleeding and ended up scabbing. I understand that mistakes can happen, but when I called to schedule another appointment, I asked for the groomer to be more careful around her nose, or to use a different groomer. Love Overboard told me I was welcome to go somewhere else, and when I told her that seemed rude, she said I shouldn’t come back and expect a different result! Beware, I guess, since the staff is unwilling to take even the mildest of criticism and they will hurt your dog!

I cannot give these guys high enough praise. We were nervous as we are foster fails and recently adopted our 2 year old girl without receiving much info about her - and therefore unable to give the team much to go on either. This was her first grooming session and she had matting all over her body (at the base of her coat), so we were expecting a close shave. What we received when we got her back was an entirely new dog and she became super confident in the space of a couple of hours! Thanks so much to the Love Overboard Team for taking care of our nervous girl. She is so soft, smells amazing, and has been jumping around showing off her new ‘do. You navigated a potentially difficult situation with great care and awesome customer service! Will definitely be back!

horrible experience. Made an appt. early feb for cat grooming service. However, when i brought my cat to the store, the clerk told me they were doing a renovation on the bathing tub, and thought some other staff had called me to re-schedule. He assured me someone would call me to confirm in a day or two. No one called. I called back couple days later, another staff asked me if I was a return customer. I explained had an appointment earlier, then she said they no longer offer the service to new customer. Then i said I was told I would get an re-scheduled appointment because you canceled mine due to renovation. FINALLY, she said the staff did cat bathing left in last DECEMBER, and they could not do it SINCE THEN! So, either the store is poorly managed that the staff members have no clue what

We have been struggling to find a groomer for our yorkies and we took them to Love Overboard and they did an absolutely fantastic job with our girls. Their ears and faces look so clean and even. The price was better than some other places we have tried and the staff was nice and I know the dogs were happy. Thank you so much - we will be back for sure!
