Long Dog Fat Cat Glynoaks

I originally stumbled upon Long Dog Fat Cat when I was exploring Omaha once. I lived in Lincoln and when I realized that they had a location there I was so happy! All of their products are top quality and my dog loves everything I get for him there. I have since moved away from Lincoln and happened to be in town this week, so I knew I’d be making a stop there! Every time I have visited this store I’ve had a great experience but today two staff members went above and beyond to help me find just what I needed and was looking for AND they had some great sales going on. I am a new cat mom as well and I was given great advice on food and care!! SHOUT OUT TO JAYA AND AMIE FOR THE ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! They deserve ten out of 5 stars! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

I recently made a post on facebook about how our pup was being improperly manhandled by a local doggy daycare. Sara (the manager) reached out to us saying she has a get well soon basket for him. She is incredibly thoughtful and went above and beyond for her generous actions! We will 110% be back there and recommend this business to everyone who has pets! We are so thankful for you, thank you.🩵

I’ve been a regular customer here and usually have great experiences! I love the quality of food and the self-wash station. During a recent visit, I felt uncomfortable when an employee repeatedly questioned why I was using the wash station to clean my dog’s paws that were dirty with lake water. She also referred to it as ‘weird,’ even asking, ‘Why can’t you just do it at home?’ I was polite, asked permission first, and offered to use my own towel and pay, so the interaction felt unnecessarily judgmental. I still love the store overall, but wanted to share this feedback about that experience.

I got my dog a Bundt cake and a collection of cupcakes here for his birthday. Staff were friendly, helpful, and patient while I took my time to decide what to get. Apparently they bring the larger birthday cakes to restock the case on Thursdays (or you can order ahead), so I didn’t get one. But my boy was still beyond happy with the many smaller cakes he got from here. :) it was slightly more expensive than I anticipated, but worth it for my best friends birthday! (I added the candle to the cake from my own decorations)

Everything about my dog's grooming appointment was amazing, literally from the second we walked through the door. Paige, our groomer, and the ladies at the desk, were amazing. My dog has hip dysplasia and gets so tired and sore, and usually comes home sad and unwilling to walk very much after being groomed, no matter where we've gone, but not after being with Paige! He is definitely tired, but he is still so happy, AND WALKING! I can tell he felt loved during his whole visit and looked out for. I'm so happy!!!
