I've tried writing this so many times, and deleted. But here we go....... We've had our beautiful boy since he was 7 weeks old. A friend of a friend reached out during COVID and said he needed a place ASAP. I cannot tell you how much joy, laughter, and great memories Cerberus has brought us. With that being said, over the years things changed. I don't want to go in great detail, but I PERSONALLY EXERTED SO MANY OPTIONS THROUGH THE YEARS. Regardless,I was out of town working and Cerb's agression reached an unsafe environment. The dignity and love that this establishment gave him and our family...... I'm speechless. I can’t recommend Dr. Heather Glover and her staff enough. They took such good care of my two dogs Semper and Rose while we had them. Just a couple weeks ago we had to put our sweet German Shepard down and the love and care they showed for us and her during the ordeal will never be forgotten. Dr. Glover did everything she could so that we could keep Rose here but when we ultimately had to make the decision to put her down, she was nonjudgmental and supportive and genuinely sorry and heartbroken for us. My husband did not want to watch so it was just Dr. Glover and one of her techs and I. They hugged me, shed tears with me and helped me hold and comfort Rose through the process, whispering sweet words to her, telling her how good of a girl she was, petting her and feeding her peanut butter.

I've been going to live oak vet for almost 3 years now. Started with my male yorkie which is almost 6 now followed by his companion (my second yorkie) Luna. I ended up mating them and I have taken all five of their babies there. Fast forward to now. Layla which is one of the puppies I decided to keep I got her fixed. She was in heat at the end of December and beginning of January. I had to keep her separate from dad and brother. Once there was no more signs of her being in heat. Dad and brother wasn't trying to get to her and she tried to fight them when they was sniffing her. Well my bf took her and dropped Layla of for surgery and apparently there was a paper that he signed stated if she was pregnant or in heat to proceed. I was never informed that she was. My husband and I had to put our Beloved Peaches down last Wednesday. Dr. Glover and her staff comforted us and treated Peaches with dignity and respect. Dr. Glover had explained to us step-by-step how euthanasia works and how Peaches (should) would react. Peaches passed away with loving hands on her. They took really amazing care with my baby Lyla. They were so gentle and patient!!! Words can’t describe how i felt with how much love they showed her. God really put Dr. Glover and all the workers there in our life for a reason. Im so greatful for them.
