Limestone Ridge Kennel

I would give 6 stars if I could. This place is fantastic. I have 3 dogs I board here and I have boarded all over the country. What matters here is that the owner lives right behind the kennel and she is a HUGE dog lover. She has two of her own babies that are always in the office. She does an amazing job caring for my animals. She pays attention to their behavior, their diet, their exercise, their health - EVERYTHING. She supplements their diets based on their bowl movements and how they are feeling and acting - and she does it in a very healthy way for the dogs. I absolutely love that she loves and cares for the well being of my animals. I have been to other places that really didn't seem to care - even when they made mistakes. Rachel, the proprietor, has always taken good care of our dogs and her rates are very reasonable. Google maps has the entrance to her lane about 100 yards premature. So if you don’t see it, just go a little further.

We have tried many other kennels in the area. Rachel is kind, considerate and very caring to animals. I will also add very professional as she makes sure all is in order and what special needs were for our Josie dog. Thank you Rachel and team for the wonderful care you give to our family pet.

Okay let’s lead off with this, the place is clean. But I’m going to have to stop the positives there. The women working at the desk seems to be the most condescending and rude person I have met in a long time. When I dropped my dog (who is cared for and loved as my child) I had his food bagged and dated and some anti anxiety Meds in his bag. I explained what the meds were for and they were perscibed by a vet that is a family member. She began to question me as if my dog did not need them. Knowing something was up I give the place a chance. Now picking my dog up the first thing she told me was I should put the pills in the trash... and told me he just needed trained. Then she puts an article in front of me explaining about dogs barking. She proceeded to tell me I’m feeding my dog too much
