Adopted my cat Chloe here. I had a great experience. Great team of volunteers. Please consider this location when looking for a cat or a dog to adopt. We are very happy we have Chloe as part of our family. She is gentle and kind.

Adopted my Beagle/Harrier mix Jesse (was Duchess) from Lighthouse Animal Shelter 4 years ago. Here is photo of the baby girl. She lives the "good life!" I found Lighthouse to be professional and very concerned about where their dogs were being placed. And thus the reason for my review....she is doing fantastic! She is my absolute best friend and I love her dearly. Thank you so much Lighthouse for bringing her into my life....my little Jesse girl!

The staff however encouraged me to come back once or twice and she would warm up to me. It took th
