Lesa's Obedience Training

Lesa is a great dog training instructor. She is a no nonsense teacher but she is great at what she does and you can really see the love she has for the dogs. I have been going to her for 1 1/2 years and she has help me to push farther with my dog more than I ever thought I would go.

I’ve taken two dogs through Lesa’s classes. She has a no nonsense approach to training. If you put the work in you’ll get a well trained dog I have also boarded with her and the dogs are well cared for and seem to love to stay with her.

Edit: as you can see the owner of this business is still trying to argue… anyone who uses the outdated term SHOCK collar for an E collar should be reconsidered. Cannot speak for her outdated dog training experience, but upon our first consultation, Lesa sounds like a nightmare to work with. Definitely needs to learn human customer service skills.

Lesa was recommended to me by friends who had trained and boarded their Collies with Elizares for ten-plus years. Lesa has an excellent background in SAR training and large breed working dogs. The kennel is very clean, though small - which limits the number of dogs boarded. Holiday reservations need to be made months in advance (which was about the only thing I was unhappy with). And obedience classes in the large arena fill up quickly. Services I've used for my dog: boarding, group classes, and private lessons. With boarding there were no extra fees for a special diet. Also I had my Bloodhound's nails trimmed there regularly.
