We have had three dogs treated for both routine care and to address serious internal medicine issues over the last 4 years. The quality of care has been outstanding. Dr. Franklin mostly certainly gave us at least 2 more years with one of our dogs through the treatment of her serious issues when other doctors were not offering much hope. All of the team at Laurelwood has been outstanding and we are continued patients with our two dogs. We highly recommend them.

Dr Franklin has been our vet for over 30 years and trust him explicitly. He and his staff are top notch always putting your furry family member first. They have been there for us for all times in our fur babies’ lives. We love Dr Franklin. When he is not available Dr Erdman is exceptional. We trust her as well — both are extremely dedicated to our special family members like no other. A huge shout out to Becky in Dr Franklin’s office — although all the staff is amazing, Becky is one of the first smiling faces you see when you come in or voice you hear when you call. She is exceptional and a caring, heart forward person who listens and is calm when you have an urgent situation or just that friendly person for a regular check up. Her heart is exponential and her love for our pets is b

Dr Franklin is the BEST! We were thinking our little Dotty had cancer, alas, she was 'lumpy' for other reasons! So happy about that. But I have had other dogs, over the past 30 years, and Dr Franklin was the ONLY vet who picked up on the real issues. Like I said - he's the BEST!

Overall very disappointing experience. We saw Dr Pacheco and he was fine during the visit, he ordered a test and prescribed meds for our cat. The problem was the follow up on what was discussed during the visit. It took them 2-3 days and multiple follow up calls to finally send the prescription (given that our cat was very sick at this time and really needed the medicine). Additionally, we never got a call back about the test results. We called a few times to follow up, and each time we were told that they don’t have access to the information we need (given I was only asking if the test is already done) and that they would tell Dr Pacheco to call us. That was 3 weeks ago we never got a call back. They initially wanted us to schedule another visit in 2 weeks (and did not tell us what for).

This review is for Dr. Franklin and long overdue. If no one can figure out what's going on with your pet, go to Dr. Franklin, he's seen it all. 11 years ago I had a young cat who had some kind of issue no one could figure out. I had paid thousands of dollars to have her examined by 10 different vets and all the labs etc. I was on the verge of losing my job because of how much care she needed. My last stop was Dr Franklin. He wasn't sure what was going on initially, but within a few days he made a presumptive diagnosis of FIP. When I researched FIP, my cat fit the profile almost exactly. This is not a disease many vets see in their career, and I'm so relieved to have been sent to Dr. Franklin. He prepared me for her passing and offered a lot of support. He removed such a huge burden by just
