Lake Tapps Veterinary Hospital

Every interaction with staff has been pleasant so far. I found them when needing someone to cremate my possum same day and they were the first to respond, promptly and compassionately. Since, I have taken 3/4 of my living animals to them for care. My tuxedo cat is currently battling a severe ear infection with affected lymph nodes that Dr. Stoehr and his team are helping us manage. We are still not out of the woods yet, and I will most likely revise my review to 5 stars once he is healthy. Dr. Stoehr has been very helpful offering treatment options, and not judgemental or pushy when I am wary or decline certain options. He has not been offended when I ask many questions or make suggestions based on my own research (I’m obviously not the professional here). I have not yet seen the other Vet

I have been bringing my dogs and cats to these guys for a few years and they do a great job. They take the time to listen and understand my questions and concerns. I highly recommend them. 👌

We are new to the area and we did not know the reputations of the Vets in this area. We took a chance and tried Lake Tapps Veterinary Hospital. We were very impressed by their professionalism. They worked hard to get to know our cat and 2 dogs and try to make them comfortable. The prices were reasonable too

Everyone was so so friendly and kind and pricing was not as outrageous as other places. But what I love most is the lack of lobby interaction. You wait in your car to be called into the exam room and pay in the room also. It was just a very streamlined experience with super nice, caring, patient , wonderful humans :) my dog even made a friend by the end of her appointment!

They lied about my dog and put it on his record that he bit 2 people. My dog is skittish and anxious but he has never bitten anyone. I have been right next to him the entire time for every appointment because he has separation anxiety. He's big and awkward and yes he growls when he gets scared. These vet techs were inexperienced young women and didn't know how to deal with reactive or anxious dogs. If they don't want to treat him that's fine, but they didn't need to lie. It's really sad and infuriating because now it's my word against theirs. What kind of monsters would want to ruin a dog's reputation like that? I don't trust this vet anymore. Owners of anxious dogs, beware.
