Bonney Lake Dog House

I have the sweetest Golden Retriever who absolutely loves people, other dogs, and going to the groomers. I booked this appointment months in advance, and he was so excited this morning—happy to see everyone and ready to be pampered. However, I was very disappointed with how today was handled. Despite having a reserved 9:00 AM appointment, my dog was placed in a kennel. He is not kennel trained, which I was never asked about during scheduling. When they tried to take him out, he understandably became nervous, and instead of calling me to help or explain the situation, I only received a text saying he was “uncooperative” and they would not be able to groom him. What I don’t understand is why he was kenneled at all if he had a scheduled appointment. After waiting months, we were turned away

The grooming services themselves were excellent, my dog came back looking great and the groomers clearly did a wonderful job. Unfortunately, my dog developed kennel cough shortly after the visit on August 8th at 11:05 AM. He is fully vaccinated, but still experienced a rough couple of days with a severe cough. Looking back, I realized that vaccination records were not checked before the appointment. While the grooming quality was very good, pet parents should be aware of this.

Love The Dog House! Been taking our dogs there for about 5 years now. They love on our big goofy doodle, and they're patient with our little guy who has a small dog complex against all other dogs. Lauren is our go-to groomer and she is great about getting our feedback and we're always happy with her work. Jessica at the front desk is helpful and remembers us and our regular services, which makes me feel valued. Prices are fair and facility is clean and organized. I feel our dogs are safe and well cared for while there. New owners are friendly and doing a great job with techology/social media and facility updates.

Always amazing and they manage to get my pups in usually the same day for nail trims. The staff is lovely! They absolutely care and listen to any feedback or needs that my pups have. I love this place ❤️
