First visit withmy new pup Glacier, who is a Polish Tatra Sheepdog. The person assisting the vet was awesome as she let Glacier get comfortable. The vet too was excellent in explaining the medications that were available as well as future spaying timing. Thanks for all you do for the community!!

Everyone at Lake Anna Vet is amazing! I’m new to the area, but have had LAV care for two of my animals. Dr. Renzi and Dr. Wyant are both kind and caring, and everyone else there has been amazing as well. So glad to have them care for my pets!

I have four dogs and they all seem to go to different vets to keep them with the vet they’ve seen since they were puppies. However my dog who usually sees a vet elsewhere needed an urgent ultrasound. Her normal vet does not provide that service. I called here and asked if they could see her even though she is not a current patient. They saw her same week and provided truly excellent care. She will continue her treatment here for surgery as I feel very comfortable with the vet’s abilities and knowledge.

Unfortunately, they do not work with online pharmacies to make filling overpriced prescriptions easier. My dog's prescription is half the price through many reputable online pharmacies but getting the prescription transfered is a huge hassle instead of a quick phone verification or email. LAVH would rather you leave work during business hours to pickup a written prescription and mail it to the online pharmacy while delaying the process entirely. Extremely frustrating when it doesn't have to be. While I do believe they care about their patients, the pet parents will pay maximum costs for that care.

Been going here 16 and now drive over an hour because we love dr slovis and the team so much. Lovely mix of attention to detail, kindness, and science <3.
