Oh Patrick! Thank you so much for spending over 2 hours with me and helping me give Emmie Lou (formally known as Jinkies) her new forever home. She had settled in nicely and is found great! She will play with a toy until it squeaks, then... nopes out. Thank you for putting her favorite chew toy in the gift bag. All stuffies must die though. She's doing great at SIT, and we're working hard on recall a few minutes at a time a few times a day. So far she's eating well and enjoys cuddling on the couch. She's the queen of Sploot! Brought home a dog a couple of days ago, and I have to say it was the best decision I've ever made even tho the dog is deaf and a bit old. It doesn't matter to me. I will still love it like my own. I attached photos to show how adorable they are. Highly recommend

I miss my Tommy from Bartleys Walk!😢😢😢 I'll take the 3 star back bcuz the day I arrived, to bring my big boy there. It was a highly emotional day, for me. I could not get control of Tommy, in the parking lot. We made it to the front door. The other dogs started communicating, as if, they were warning him. He slipped his head through the leash and the show started, from there. When I looked for him he was sitting by the passenger door, on the driver's side waiting for me to open it. My tears began to flow bcuz he wanted to go back home. I tried to place the leash around his head. He wasn't having it! So after a few more minutes of running around the parking lot. Visited a couple shelters last week. Ended up finding the perfect angel. I get to pick her up this Wednesday. The workers were wonderful. I had left, went home . And couldn't get my girl out of my head, a beautiful shy shepherd. So I called, and yes, the phone was answered second ring. I asked about her, they immediately knew which dog I was inquiring about and her history. They let me come back some day to visit privately with this beautiful dog. One on one time. And I got to fill out the paperwork. I get to look up my new girl this week, after she is spayed. I can't wait!!!Their service was wonderful. The animals are loved as best as they can be at this shelter. You can tell everyone in the building cares. I appreciate all of you and the work that you do.
