I made one of the hardest decisions of my life today— to surrender my cat that I have loved caring for and learned a lot from over the past 4 years. She was there for me during the toughest season of my life, providing unconditional love and comfort. That is the beauty of animals.. they don’t know what you’ve done, mistakes you’ve made, but are there for you regardless. Recently, I got news of a huge life change that is out of my control. One that my cat unfortunately cannot be a part of. Against every fiber in my being, I decided to do what's best for her and decided to re-home her. We adopted from Kitty City 4 years ago and had a wonderful experience with the adoption process! Due to many factors we were forced to surrender our cat today. The decision was not made lightly! I was very disappointed with the interaction we had today. There was a gross lack of compassion and empathy from the staff for what was a very difficult and emotional decision. Of the 3 staff present, no one gave any words of encouragement or positivity. Instead all we heard was “you could still keep her.” No, actually we can’t for reasons you don’t know or understand. I love Kitty City! They are all so nice. We adopted a sweetheart named Gemma. We are going to adopt again very soon. Thank you Kitty City for making the adoption process easy and exciting!

**update, they're all grown up and they are the best kitties ever! Added photo Wonderful adoption experience!! My little girls loved being able to interact with the kitties we were interested in while in a private cat room setting. We tried three different pairs and my girls became smitten with one of them. We took home two juvenile kitties and have been spoiling them ever since.

All the staff here are incredible! My fiancée and I got an adorable pair of senior kitties here and everyone was super helpful in making it happen. Even months after we adopted them, their foster was more than happy to answer our questions. The staff really care about the cats here and I love how they make sure to give info on things such as why declawing is bad, healthy food options, etc.
