Kimbertal Kennels (visitation by appointment)

HORRIBLE. I’ve personally been to their facility and seen the inner workings, all I can say is I’m shocked and appalled. There was a fire here years ago where they lost 25 dogs, the owners have zero care for these beautiful creatures. I wish I could give this place zero stars. As a dog lover please get your animals from a rescue or a reputable breeder. Kimbertal is a puppy mill that only cares about money and not the actual health of their dogs. The literal cages they kept the dogs in weren’t up to code and way to small for big dogs like the ones they bred. The owners kept these animals in appalling conditions. Theses owners need to be shut down, I have no idea how they live with themselves, this is animal abuse, neglect and cruelty. DO NOT DUPPORT KIMBERTAL!

Whelped 3-9-19 and had to be put down from aggressive lymphoma today(11-22-25) I can’t help but believe that the reviews on poor breeding are true. This dog was fine and his sickness happened aggressively. It makes no sense. He was fully blind when I sent him home. True pain. Avoid this place.

This place is nothing more than a puppy mill, a heartbreaking factory of suffering where dogs are neither health-tested nor temperament-tested. They are confined to tiny cages, living their entire lives for one purpose only: breeding. No love. No care. Just profit. It is devastating to see how many people unknowingly support this cruelty. If more people truly understood what happens behind those doors, they would stop buying pets from them immediately. I personally rescued a Doberman, and when I saw the AKC papers, my heart sank—of course, the dog came from this kennel. When I reached out to the Doberman community for help, I learned the painful truth. Time and time again, dogs from this kennel grow up aggressive, unstable, or tragically end up being put down due to serious health issues

I normally don’t write reviews, but thought I’d chime in after reading some of the reviews here. First there are a few negative reviews, but if you read them they are from people who never bought from Kimbertal. Over the years we’ve purchased three Dobermans from them and all have been outstanding pups with great temperament. On health issues my last Dobermans lasted close to 10 heathy years. Recently I purchased another Doberman from them and he has been a great addition to our family… Kimbertal has alway been great to deal with and the Kimbertal community is extremely supportive which is saying a lot.

You can tell the owner loves the puppies, but maybe is creating more litters than she can find homes for in a favorable amount of time. I love my female rottweiler from here! She's great with adults, kids, other animals, super loyal and beautiful.
