Kennel At Champions

I'll keep my opinion out of this review and only state facts. The first time my Dog boarded here, I had no issues. However, this last stay was extremely horrific. Starting from when I picked up my Dog. I noticed they did not groom him like I had asked. As soon as I got him and we went outside I noticed he was rubbing at his eye, and he had a very bad pungent odor. He also didn't want to be touched and very distant. Seeing I quickly dropped him off at home to get back to work, my daughter was going to take him a bath. She noticed one of his eyes was really red and when drinking water, he would spill a lot of it and the water would turn really nasty. He was not his happy self and didn't want to come out of his kennel. Finally, that night I couldn't bare it any longer and took him to the Anim

I moved to Houston from MN with my 2 dogs and I travel a lot for my job. I did some looking around for a good dog kennel near my place and came up with the Kennel at Champions. SInce I have been in Houston for the last 5 months I have used them for short trips of 3 days to 15 days and a minimum of 1 trip a month. They always greet me with a smile, they take great care of my dogs and everytime I pull in to the parking lot they get excited and run to the door. They are also very accomidating on short notices! I have not regreted taking my dogs there since the first day!

Best kennel in Houston. 5 Star Grooming & Pet Boarding. Our Dog loves the entire staff! The kennels are very clean. They greet everyone and every pet with kindness.

I believe the owner lives on-site. The place looks very run down. The lobby smelled very bad (bunch of pets, makes sense). My experience was not great. I apologize for the lengthy review, but I feel it paints a picture. My wife and I dropped off our 1-Yr Great Dane (weighs 75-80 lbs), and were welcomed by, "Wow, she is skinny." I'm sure most vets would say our girl could put on more weight, but that she is not malnourished. Our vet said she was the perfect weight for a growing Great Dane puppy. Not too lean, not too big. We told the owner that she didn't love her current food, and that we'd be weening her to a different food. We were quite offended that the owner questioned us as responsible puppy parents continually. The owner didn't ask many questions, just made judgment right away and
