Karen's Pampered Pets Grooming and Boarding

My husband takes our beagle/hound mix to have his nails clipped, my husband always says she does really good with him. Our dog loves going there.

The owner is amazing, the service was wonderful, my Australian Shepherd had gotten into some roughage that we couldn't clean but at Karen's she came back more beautiful and fluffy. Love it and pebbles will be back.

Be very cautious of this place. They did a pretty good job on the coat trim but they cut my poor baby's nail too far back and she hasn't stopped bleeding since she left them yesterday. I took her back this morning so the lady could apply some powder over it and she just kept reiterating that the groomer has never done anything like this before as if I'm telling a lie. Well I'd like to show the groomer the blood all over my car and carpets here at home. So on that note, if you dont want to clean blood stains out of your carpets all day long, I suggest you book with another place.

I would give zero stars if I could. When i picked my dog up from his grooming, we got in the car and he was squinting his eyes. When we got home i noticed he would barely open his eyes and they were starting to have yellow crust around them. By the next morning, his eyes were crusted completely shut and he couldn’t open his eyes at all. I took him to the vet and spent loads of money to get him antibiotics and eye drops. The vet informed me that at his grooming they got something in his eyes and they became infected. I called Karen’s pampered pets after i left the vet to explain what happened and that i wasn’t pleased and she basically said that they would never do anything like that and that they are very careful and use tear free products. Terrible attitude. It’s called KAREN’S pampered for a reason. Instead of telling us there was a miscommunication she was down right rude to my husband. Be careful to not make any mistakes because she obviously doesn’t like it.
