We have adopted two dogs from the KHS. I highly recommend taking a stroll through the halls and find your next fur baby. We watched the website and fell in love with our newest addition to our family. Thanks KHS for helping us find our doggies!

I wish I knew who the employee was that spoke with me via FB messenger all day yesterday as I tried to figure out how to get an abandoned litter of kittens into KHS's care. They answered every question I had and kept promptly coming back to answer each new question I came up with even though I felt like I was being a nuisance. But not once did they make me feel like I was getting on their nerves and it's due to this person's patience and kindness that we were able to get these babies into their care! A huge weight has been lifted from both me and the friend who found the kittens and now they have a chance at a wonderful life! Just like the shy kitten I adopted from them 8 years ago, who has become my rude giant tabby that is obsessed with his momma, that I don't know what I'd do without

Miss Lauran gave our grades a facility tour of KHS and the students had a blast! She was so knowledgeable about the history of KHS and how the facility operates. We were shown all the behind the scenes areas such as the clinic and laundry room. She was very knowledgeable about teaching the students about spaying & neutering and the importance of doing so. We had students ages 7-14 and she made sure all students understood everything. She was very skilled at talking to all grade levels. We got to meet some adorable animals at the shelter and then decorate dog bones with peanut butter. Our experience was amazing and we were so happy with the time and care she put into making it special for our students.

Can't say enough good things about our local KHS!! Thanks to your team for going above and beyond to provide care for those less fortunate animals in the world.

Adopted McNugget (formerly Nugget) a week ago and so happy about our new family addition. He made himself right at home, our first dog is coming around and just today they were playing for the first time. He is BEAUTIFUL with our little girl and I know that they’ll be best friends as she gets older.
