Kanine Klippers

Our dog Barnaby loves getting groomed here! We have been going for years and he always comes home smelling fresh, neatly trimmed, and happy! Barnaby does miss the bandanas they used to hand out with cleanings, but he will always be a loyal customer.

Our Great Pyrenees whose hip dysplasia made it difficult for him to walk or stand independently for long periods of time needed extra care and special treatment. Almost two years ago after being told his needs were more than the previous groomer could handle, we started coming to Kanine Klippers. Becca has always been so helpful with scheduling and has helped get Colby in and out comfortably. Kim has always done such a great job grooming him in a way that has fit his needs each time. We are grateful for the wonderful care they provided our sweet boy, especially as he got older and needed even more support towards the end of his time with us.

I moved to Austin almost two years ago and this was the first place I took my dog. The first haircut they did an incredible job. I’ll insert a photo. Not sure if the groomer who did his cut that time doesn’t work there anymore or what happened. But it’s been downhill ever since. They’ve cancelled on me the day of his appointment twice after already waiting weeks for an open appointment slot. The staff isn’t welcoming or friendly. I show the same reference photo each time which is the first haircut he had at this place. Every time it’s botched and looks nothing like the photo. I’ll insert the photo of him after leaving today. I’ve never left a bad review for anything in my life because I don’t want to be a Karen but I’ve had enough of this place

I've got a feisty chihuahua who hates getting a nail trim. But the kind folks at Kanine Klippers listened to my concerns and took great care of my boy! They said he behaved really well, which means they treated him really well! I'll be back for sure.

10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The only groomers I trust! Kanine Klippers on South Congress has been a lifesaver. They welcomed my rescue pup, who has anxiety and a bit of a “bipolar” personality, when so many other groomers turned her away. They’ve shown nothing but patience, kindness, and care and now we’ve been going to them for a year! 🥳 They do an amazing job with both of my dogs, always paying close attention to detail. A little late on this review, but I truly love and appreciate this team for everything they do! 🐾💛
