So grateful the Humane Society was an option for me! I had priced getting our cat we recently adopted fixed , along with getting her chipped, and the price quoted literally took my breath away! I just couldn't afford it. I was able to go to the HS, get these things done, and was confident she was in good hands, and all for a very reasonable price.

They saved our cats life. One of the few vets that actually cares about animals and not how they're gonna paid as much as possible before anything else. They followed up a couple days later just to see how she was doing. We had an emergency. They worked with us. They deserve an award. We are forever grateful for the Kalamazoo Humane Society and the entire staff. Thank you guys so much!

I just got a call from the Humane Society saying that I can no longer bring my cat to get spayed next week. Why? I'll tell you. I rescued a stray & brought her in to get a check-up. For the most part, everything was fine. During the visit, she was given a topical flee medicine. The next day, she had a seizure. Concerned that the flea medicine gave her the seizure, I rushed her back to the vet. The vet decided that she needed to either be PUT DOWN or held in quarantine for a week because she believed Sasha had RABIES. How did she make this determination? Well, because she didn't have a record of being vaccinated, she had just been rescued from being a stray, & she had a seizure! The vet tells me that "it doesn't hurt when they get put to sleep." I told her absolutely not, & I would quaran

So greatful for them! They worked with me for my cats surgery as I could not afford the full cost! Very caring people and great place! Highly recommend and cheapest prices around for the fur babies

I went there recently for the food bank. They were very nice and helpful. I received 2 large bags of cat food and 1 large bag of litter. When they were located on westnedge, I had all my cats spayed and neutered. They actually let me work inside the building to pay for the spaying and neutering. How awesome is that ! They rely on donations, so help an animal today and donate dog food, cat food, litter, treats and other items, which they can tell you further details about. I'm sure they take money donations also, which will help with other expenses. It's nice to have a place nearby to help our pets out when we can't.
