K9 Kompanion Training

Sending my dogs to Tiffany and Kat was honestly one of the best things I’ve ever done. I had a small pack of dogs, and two of them were becoming borderline unsafe. Lots of fear based aggression and resource guarding. Couldn’t have anyone in the house without a complete meltdown, and one of my dogs actually bit my handyman when he went into our backyard unannounced. The two dogs that I sent for training couldn’t even be in the same room anymore. I never in a million years thought I’d ever send my dogs away to be trained, but after trying multiple trainers that were way in over their heads, and also working as a dog walker with several dogs that had been through similar programs, we decided to pursue the board and train route. We just wrapped up on a four week program for our boy Rocco and couldn’t be more pleased with the entire process. Kat and Tiff are dog lovers all the way through and we could tell every day that he was getting the love and attention he needed, while also going through this rigorous program. Rocco came back light years ahead of where he was and I know he will only continue to grow using the guidance Kat and Tiff provided us. For a quick background - What little rules we held Rocco to had evaporated before our eyes the second our daughter was born. Rocco was now the biggest stressor in our life, and we had a baby human to care for! I am so grateful that I found K9 Kompanion for all of my pups needs! There is no place I trust more with my pup and I highly recommend them for all services including board and train, boarding, and play groups. Zeus (Great Dane/Mastiff Mix) did a 2 week board & train program, regularly attends play groups, and occasionally stays for sleepovers. We are extremely pleased with the results of our board and train - Zeus returned home with an incredibly reliable off leash recall, place, sit, stay, heel, and other additional skills and manners. He is also able to manage his excitement appropriately without jumping which was extremely important for us since he is a giant goofy affectionate puppy. He even came home with training videos so we could see exactly how to use his commands and a homework

Our St Bernard and chocolate lab just spent 2.5 weeks at K9 Kompanion and we are so happy and impressed with their work. We can finally enjoy time with our doggies as we go for walks, hikes and kid activities with them. We don’t have to worry about their anxiety, unsocial behaviors or feel stressed ourselves! I cried with joy our first afternoon at the park off leash. Kat and Tiffany were awesome at drop off too…answered all our questions and made sure we were comfortable and prepared to take over the training. I’d recommend this place to anyone dog family! Was recommended to K9K by a friend and we're so glad we enrolled our pup in the board & train program! Charlie was quite reactive on leash to both people and dogs and was a bit anxious in new places. Tiffany and Kat were able to work in his anxiety and reactivity, which improved immensely, along with on/off leash and obedience training. Life after K9K is much more comfortable, for all parties involved! Their continued support outside the program goes to show how much they care for your pup and we can't recommend them enough!
