Jake's K9 Retreat - Luxury Dog Boarding & Resort

The team at Jake's K9 Retreat are amazing. They take great care of my boy and the ladies love him. It's cute seeing report cards but also encouraging that they are proactively observing for any negative traits he may exhibit. They also pair up your pups with other dogs they get along with in play group. Tex's best friend is Magnolia and it's very nice to have photos and videos sent every day to show he's having a great time and is well taken care of.

I have never boarded my dogs before-too many stories about dogs being severely stressed, so I was extremely hesitant to board them right off the bat. I read through all the reviews for Jake’s K9 retreat and found them encouraging but I was still nervous. All that to say, this place is just incredible. The staff are so kind, so flexible, so loving, and my boys had an absolute blast. They sent me updates with videos everyday-it was plain to see they were being truly loved on. Will absolutely use them again and recommend to anyone I can. Just an overall lovely experience with lovely folks who care about the pups in their looking after. Also HIGHLY recommend adding the bath! They smelled incredible coming home.

Recently was our first experience with Jake’s K9 and to say it was a phenomenal one would be an understatement. From the first contact to our pick up was nothing less than amazing. The staff is very accommodating and adapts to every situation with ease. They make you having to leave your fur baby with someone else a lot easier. The daily photos, videos and check ins help to settle your anxiety and nerves. We will absolutely be using their services again in the future and will be recommending them to others.

My dog Bella stayed here and absolutely loved it. She was a little scared at first but the staff took the extra time to sit with her and give her treats to help her adjust and feel safe. They even sent pictures to me while they visited with her so I could see how she was doing. I am bringing her again this weekend while I am out of town because I know they will always take such wonderful care of her! I would recommend anyone looking for a place to board or do daycare for your pets come here. They are fantastic!

This place and these people are amazing! I own 3 large dogs, all rescues with specific needs, and these guys went above and beyond for them. They made sure they felt safe and comfortable. Not only are they a great daycare/boarding place but they’re a rescue center for other dogs. These people are doing amazing work and we will continue to use them for our boarding needs and support their rescue center.
