***Jackson doesn’t have a lot of options for after-hours animal care, so you may want to consider and plan where you may want to take your pet in Memphis or Nashville should illness/emergency strike.*** I am writing this review on behalf of my parents who are so heartbroken and devastated right now by the neglect and abuse their dog endured at Jackson Pet Emergency Clinic on N. Highland Ave. I hope this review prevents other pets and families from being subjected to the horrible events we encountered here. Winston, the sweet, loving, funny bulldog you see pictured, had unfortunately undergone a botched surgery at another facility. I’m so thankful for the staff. We had a scare with our dog, Teeter, late at night and drove over an hour to get there. She was showing signs of neurological issues and was very disoriented after being outside. We weren’t sure if it was a bite, concussion or ingesting something toxic. The staff was so friendly and made me feel at ease. She was given IV fluids and charcoal and within 2 hours she was acting better and is on the mend. They even call to check in on the patients. Thank you for saving our sweet girl.

Although the outcome was heartbreaking, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience here last night. Dr. Conner and Amber took great care of our girl Fiona and us. Dr. Conner got right to diagnosing the problem, and gave treatment options, but was also very honest with us, while still being compassionate. We really appreciate that. Amber helped make the process go smoothly, where we didn’t have to leave the room for anything and didn’t have to stop at the front desk before leaving after being so devastated. The compassion from them, and everyone else we encountered, will be remembered by us forever.

Words can’t describe how compassionate and patient the people here are. We brought our dog in twice in one night, the second time ultimately having to let her go to sleep..The doctor & techs did everything to help her be pain free and peaceful in her final moments, and me & my fiancée couldn’t be more grateful. 5 stars isn’t enough to describe how well we were treated. Even with coming in 30 minutes to closing & being an emotional wreck, they were very caring and understanding. They let us take all the time we needed. We also weren’t charged a second emergency work in fee, which was very gracious of them. I definitely would recommend this clinic to anyone searching.

I’d like to give a huge Thank You to the vets and staff at Jackson Pet Emergency Clinic. In Holloween night our German Shepard Dutchess had an emergency flipped stomach.The staff literally saved her life. There are no words to express the gratitude we have for this amazing crew. We are beyond Thankful for thier knowledge and compassion ( not only for Dutchess but for us as well) Would recommend to anyone who loves thier pets as family
