We adopted Muffy (on the left) in October and she instantly became part of the family. We went to Pam’s rescue twice and her and the whole team were great! She gave us advice on how to introduce Muffy to the other animals at home. She let us get to know all the cats. We cannot thank Pam and her team enough. We are so greatful that she let us bring home this sweet girl. Thank you Pam and team for all that you do!

I can’t say enough good things about It’s All About the Animals!. This shelter, run by Pam and Oren, truly puts the well-being of their cats first. They care for every kitten and cat to the best of their abilities, and it’s clear how much knowledge and heart they bring to what they do. They take the time to understand each animal’s personality and needs, making sure every cat is matched with the perfect home. Their dedication goes far beyond the basics—they consistently go above and beyond for both the animals and the families adopting them. If you’re looking for a compassionate, responsible, and trustworthy shelter, this is absolutely the place to go. Very confused by the reviews left recently by a few (related/connected) people. Pam did take "problem" adult cats and spent a significant amount of money and time to get them medically stable and ready for a home. I know because I adopted from her- with medical records. My cats were never going to be "money makers"- because they came with issues. Pam was fully transparent about the issues, kept them until she found the perfect spot for them, and then put me through a very thorough vetting process to make sure we were a good match. Even after all that, she has been available for questions and advice. I've been to her shelter and it's amazing. Clean and odor free. The cats are relaxed and secure. She is 100% cage free unless necessary for medical or other safety reasons. I understan

It’s honestly upsetting to see negative reviews trying to tear down Pam. She has dedicated her life to helping animals and consistently goes above and beyond for cats of all kinds healthy, sick, and those others might turn away. I personally adopted an FeLV-positive cat from her when many places would have chosen euthanasia, which speaks volumes about her compassion. She advocates for the animals first, even when it’s not the easy or popular choice. Anyone who takes a step back can see how deeply she cares and how hard she works for every animal that comes through her doors. I’m incredibly grateful for everything she does.

Pam and Oren have dedicated their lives in service to animals and their kindness is simply unmatched. We’re forever grateful for our wonderful Bear, who came to us from their loving care after almost two years waiting for his forever home. They were transparent during the adoption process, ensuring we knew everything from his original intake through all that they’d learned in caring for him during his stay. They prepared us fully for his adjustment period and were thrilled to learn how quickly he settled in and how much his personality began to flourish around his new friends. There’s nothing these folks wouldn’t do to create a softer, kinder world for the cat population.
