Alex Pet salon and boarding

I started seeing this groomer when my Goldendoodle was 6 months old. Alex was grooming him. My dog is now 2 years old and yhr last 2 visits he is having his daughter cut my dogs hair and I have been highly dissatisfied. This review is on my last appointment 3-4-26. My dogs hair has grown out substantially and he did have a few matted areas behind his leg and on the lower back of his neck. My dogs hair is beautiful curly hair especially around his face and top of his head which I brush daily and love to run my hands through it. I specifically asked the daughter to not shave my dog down and to please leave the hair on his face and top of head alone!!!!! I am the paying customer and should get what I ask for. We set up an appointment via text for boarding and no one asked for any papers like shots or anything and when we arrived no one was there. I had someone else show up to drop my dog off later and they would not show us the area where the dogs stayed. My son went and picked our dog up because we were worried and he said the guy was super rude and he said he was not ok leaving our dog there. Super uncomfortable experience and would never go back. I felt like the dogs were not being tended too and were left in a shed like building and I could hear dogs barking from the building and just felt no one was there midday caring for them. I recommend Pet Recess in Middleboro which was way more professional and showed me the facility and the staff are wonderful.

Alex does a wonderful job keeping my dog safe and happy and healthy while we board there! He does so well with my moms dog who is very sensitive, and well with my very happy go lucky and strong German shepherd. My dog comes out missing them - he thoroughly enjoys his vacations there too. Your dog will be well looked after here!

Alex and Victoria did a wonderful job on our Newfoundland puppy! She looks beautiful, she is so soft and smells great! I felt comfortable leaving our fur baby with them, they were patient, loving and kind. I Would recommend to anyone looking for a professional dog groomer!
