We cannot begin to express how grateful we are for Raya and the effort she put into our dog! We sent Palala for a 2 week board and train to help with her jumping on people, bad walking habits, and building confidence with other dogs (especially bigger ones). Holy cow she came out of the other end so much more confident, more well behaved, and really showing off her new skills! Every day we would receive updates that included videos, photos, and text of Palala and her progress. She went to the beach, different stores, walks, and made some dog friends along the way! Since we have had her back, we have taken her out and about and she does a great job with her heel, doesn’t pull on the lead at all, and even sat with good manners while we had a conversation at target. Raya at Island Dog Obedience is absolutely amazing! She deserves more than 5 stars! She trained my dog, River, for two weeks and the results truly blew me away. River is a very high-energy dog, and Raya not only taught her all the commands, but also showed us how to properly control, correct behavior, and even work with River off-leash. I was honestly amazed at how quickly Raya was able to gain control, build structure, and transform River’s behavior. Her knowledge, confidence, and calm approach made such a difference, and she took the time to make sure we understood everything before taking River home. If you’re struggling with a high-energy dog or want real, lasting results, I highly recommend Raya at Island Dog Obedience. It was one of the best decisions we’ve made for River. 🐶

I'm very pleased with the 2 week program that my 8 month old German Shepherd attended. Raya is a great trainer and really focused on key area's that my pup needed help with. From the public socialization to building my pups confidence up the overall experience was worth it. She is much more tolerable in public and around people and dogs. This training really helped me connect better with my pup as well. I also really enjoyed the daily video and picture updates. Raya was always helpful and was always availabe if i had any questions throuhout the boarding program.
