Irvine Valley Veterinary Hospital Emergency

I was refered by my cats' vet (Quail) in the neghiborhood to Irvine Valley Vet Hospital ER a month ago when it was after work hours and my cat Bamboo had an emergent urinary/stress+stomach +upper respiratory illness issue due to new kitten resident but the meds I had for him couldn't work. I felt really bad on the way I drove him to the ER becuase my experience for Bamboo's twin brother at another ER was really bad (and he passed away). But I would like to express my sincere gratitude to this veterinary team, as my experience at IVVH was great and very helpful for Bamboo and he has fully recovered now (attached a pic that Bamboo now gets along well with the new kitten Joy). We had an incredibly difficult experience after discovering a large mass in our cat Astro’s chest, which ultimately led to the heartbreaking decision to euthanize him. I want to thank Dr. Wu for being so knowledgeable, patient, and clear in explaining everything to us during such an emotional time. The entire staff was kind and gentle with Astro, which meant so much to us. The euthanasia process itself was handled with great care and compassion, allowing us to spend quality time with Astro before he passed peacefully and with dignity, without pain. We are very grateful for the respect and empathy shown to both our cat and our family.

We cannot express enough gratitude to Irvine Valley Veterinary Hospital for the incredible care they provided for our cat, Jack. We were in a terrifying situation where his life was on the line, but the team here didn't just see a patient, they saw a family member worth fighting for. Our family has had a rough few years as illness and death has struck our family hard. Jack has been been there for every tear and pain doing his best to purr and headbutt our sorrows away. I just had my third cat picked up by their free curtesy transportation car. I have never done this in my life, to leave one of my babies, especially in an emergency situation, into someone else’s hands. Yet two amazing doctors had just treated another two emergencies I had a couple of weeks before, so I trust this place and all their stuff 100%. Everyone is welcoming, warm and they will do everything to reassure you. The two doctors I met - unfortunately one I do not remember the name - were wonderful. Doctor Wu performed a delicate surgery on my little cat at nighttime and kept me updated throughout. This place is worth every penny. I feel really safe entrusting my pets to them. I highly recommend it.

I am incredibly grateful for Irvine Valley Veterinary Hospital. My dog is a large breed, and when she injured her back legs/hips, I was in total distress as I couldn’t lift her into my car to get her to a hospital myself. I called several places for hours hoping for a house call or help transporting her to the ER, and Irvine Valley Veterinary Hospital was the only one willing and able to assist. I’m so thankful they did. They came in less than half an hour from my call. Javier, who helped transport my dog both from and to my home, was so patient with me and gentle with my dog, and Dr. Wui and the entire staff were wonderful about keeping me with my dog and putting me at ease throughout everything. My dog is now back home and recovering well, and the hospital continues to check in on us.
