Northwood Animal Hospital

I cannot recommend Northwood Animal Hospital enough, especially for those with small pets. My bunny Artemis has been seen by both Dr. J and Dr. Roberts, and they are both incredible, knowledgeable, and compassionate vets. I also have nothing but glowing praise for all the vet techs and front desk staff there. Kate and Minerva especially are so sweet and responsive. Everyone here has so much patience and grace. Unfortunately, my sweet girl passed away during an amputation surgery, but she was older and her paw had become infected. I know that the staff did everything they could…sadly it was just her time. I am so, so grateful to the care that was given to her in the time we spent going to Northwood.

The veterinarians at Northwood are truly dedicated professionals. They took the time to thoroughly examine Mabel, explaining each step of the process and answering all our questions with patience and understanding. I bring Biscuit here every year for his checkup and vaccines. The staff is very friendly and professional (Dude, the front desk supervisor came over to greet me as I was seated in the waiting room), and the vets and vet techs are very knowledgeable and gentle with pets (even though Biscuit kicked a vet tech and had to be bunrritoed once). I am immensely appreciative that they did not ban him from the property for his poor behavior. I took him in for a nail trim because he is very tends to be very uncooperative. He was in and out very quickly. Upon returning home, Biscuit made it clear in no uncertain terms that he was not pleased (he dramatically kicked the carpet at me) but they did an excellent job on his mani-pedi. 10/10, would highly recommend for your precious bunbuns.

The staff were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and kind—clearly experienced with small animals and attentive to her specific needs. The procedure went smoothly, and our bunny recovered beautifully thanks to their excellent care. The pricing was very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of service. From check-in to post-op instructions, everything was handled with compassion and clarity. We’re so grateful to have found a clinic that treats every animal like family. Highly recommend to anyone looking for expert care at a fair price!

The staff, Technicians and the vet were all very understanding. My biggest concerns at the vets are always the high cost that comes out and I did explain this to them ahead and they made sure to check with me in advance and answer any questions I had without shaming me. Also, the vet tried to point out all the concerns she saw with Marco yet left the decisions to be made by me.
