Insight Veterinary Wellness Center

My dog buddy and I have found insight to be the best thing ever. He first began experiencing grand mal seizures and focal seizures last year. In the course of this year, insight has provided us with guidance as we navigate his seizures with medication and treatment options . They are very caring and empathetic. I recommend this place over anywhere else . They are a bit pricey but you get what you pay for: excellent customer service, caring staff, 24/7 emergency care, educated veterinarians

Our two Yorkies were clients at the Spa for a few years. Staff were always terrific with the dogs and they actually liked going. I called this week to make grooming appointments, left messages and didn’t get a call back. I called the veterinary side a bit ago and found the spa has been shut down by the owners who purchased the business a year or so ago. I do hope they are able to change the voicemail to reflect that. Any suggestions for a new place? Some of the previous groomers did leave contact info with the vet, but not Lainey, who had done a great job with our guys.

My dog, Goose, had an unexplainable emergency happen last night and we were transferred here from a different vet because she needed to be monitored overnight. The vet that I met with at 11pm was incredible. I wish I could remember her name (maybe Dr. Aguilar?). She explained Goose's situation to me and spent a lot of time answering my million questions. She called me twice in a 6 hour period to update me. At 8am, Dr. Quan took over and was incredible as well. Both explained her situation to me so well and again, answered my million questions. Dr Quan was honest with me and made me feel like I was making the right decisions for my dog based on the information and prognosis she was facing. The best decision for Goose was euthanasia and each member of the staff that I came into contact with

I did really like this place and took my cat here a couple times. However, a couple incidents happened that changed my mind. 1. They seem to not be as knowledgeable about cats. They gave me some advice on how to help my cat who was dealing with some pretty serious medical issues. I followed their advice and trusted it, but he didn't get better, only got worse. I eventually ended up taking him to UC Davis for something else. When I told them the advice they gave me, they told me that advice is only true for dogs, not for cats. Also, UC Davis noticed that Insight had done bloodwork that showed that he was diabetic, but they completely missed it. It explained alot of the symptoms he was having that they totally brushed off as not important. So, it doesn't seem like they are very knowledgeable

We recently had to bring our cat here for emergency treatment, we had found out some really bad news on her condition but the team here were all very kind and honest and they helped our girl out. Although her condition is progressive they helped us get her stable and home and in a space where we can safely get as much time with her as possible. We are very thankful for the doctor and team here for helping her and who were available for questions after and very kind to our family. I genuinely trust and appreciate the people in this location and how much they helped us
