I had a great experience adopting my dog, Bentley. The staff was kind and caring. I was told all details in full and they were specific on my dog's history. They went over the 3-3-3 rule in full detail as well. I am thankful for their due diligence. This facility provided me with all the proper tools and guidance for a successful adoption. Thank you.

Adopted a pair of 9 month old cats last week. They were provided with 3 days of antibiotics for upper respiratory infection. One cat needs more antibiotic he is much worse than when I adopted him. I work for the state of Indiana and cannot just take off all day to sit at one of the vet offices hoping to be seen. Due to the the holiday and vet availability I will not be able to get him into the vet for over a week from now. I emailed the shelter asking to purchase antibiotics so he does not have to suffer through this. I even sent a video of how sick he is. Unfortunately if they do not help me with this I will be returning them. Breaks my heart this was my son’s Christmas gift. Hope I don’t have to return them. We love our 2 family members and don’t want to terrify them by taking back

I adopted this precious little fur baby Anna now known as Nova on November 12th it has now been two weeks since her adoption and it has been one of the best decisions ive made in a very long time. She is absolutely precious and I can't wait to see the rest of her amazing little personality shine through like the little star she is. I just want to say thanks to the wonderful staff at IACS for all you guys do for these animals. You guys were very informative and gave me all the resources I need to make sure nova has had a smooth transition into my home!!

On 2/19 PM, we adopted two cats from this shelter. At the time of departure, we were informed that one cat had a mild upper respiratory infection and both had been neutered earlier that day. We were not informed that either cat was seriously ill or experiencing complications from surgery. By 2/21 PM, both cats became critically unwell. Since bringing them home, we have had 3 veterinary visits totaling $600, and we are still in ongoing follow-up care. Both cats were diagnosed with severe upper respiratory infections, double ear infections, and infected incision sites from their neutering surgeries. They were so sick that they stopped eating and drinking and required multiple boluses of fluids, feeding tubes, anesthesia in order to get food into their stomachs, injectable antibiotics, ster

As for a animal shelter do not bring strays here. Three times i have taken a stray animal here and was told to leave it outside. Dog and cat. I was shooed away at an appointment recently since a cat that had been tipped was sick and appeared as someones pet. They tried to scan it for a chip nothing came up. This cat was dying from a Upper Respiratory Infection and was told to leave him outside and let nature do the rest. I shelled out $250 to keep this animal from dying. There are some staff that are kind and will hear you out, young girl with bangs . There is a red-haired woman in her 40s who will shoo you away unprofessionally without even giving any sort of advice or resources. I get this facility is struggling but they are in the business of helping animals and a main staff worker denie
