My baby duke just left here while we went on a family trip. It was my first time boarding him and it probably showed because I was so anxious dropping him off and picking him up but I swear to you… I think my dog wants to come back LOL he wakes up earlier than usual looking at me like, okay this is around the time I went out for my nature walk or hello, rub my belly it’s TLC time. They were attentive to dukes bladder issues while I was gone ensuring his urine was normal, you can text for updates which is very soothing, the facility is clean and well taken care of and the staff is amazing. I could tell the owner could tell I was crazy about my pup. This was my first time at the resort with my two dogs. Communication was good and professional, but the care was lacking. I've boarded my dogs several times, so I know the difference. Upon pick up, my dogs were dirty, smelled terribly and had debris all over them. I have spent the evening bathing my dogs rather than peacefully returning from vacation. A few different things are making me wonder about their care and the cleanliness of the facility. I don't feel my dogs were well cared for here at all. 24 hours later: My terroir woke us twice in the night with diarrhea. My lab has a rash on his male parts and continues to shake off his body and rub on things as if he's irritated. Now I need to take him to the vet. DO NOT GO HERE.

My family has always boarded dogs at this facility, going back nearly 20 years with my childhood dogs. I am always happy bringing my own dog here now as an adult. While it doesn’t look like some of those “trendy” dog daycare places you see online, the care and service are always high quality and consistent. My dog is very reactive, and they settled a lot of my nerves surrounding this. During his first stay, he was kept in one of the accommodation kennels for reactive dogs. He received such a good report that we have since boarded him in the regular kennels. They always say he does a great job in the kennels, during his run time, and in the grooming room even with other dogs present! 10000000% recommend!!! We have boarded our dogs at many places and taken them to many different doggy day cares/grooming places and can say Indian Shoals Pet Resort is by far the best! We paid additional fees for the TLC, park run special, and photos/videos everyday but I can honestly say it was worth to know our babies were taken care of, running around having fun and getting the same love we would give them at home. The staff here is top tier and really cares about your fur babies like their own. We will definitely be back :)
