Imagine Furever Ranch

Several years ago, I began volunteering here. I had recently lost my beloved senior dog. Even though it was a long commute from South OP, something felt right when I made my first drive into the ranch. There’s plenty of land for the dogs to wander; the dogs live in open areas with comfortable furniture. The volunteers and visitors spend time snuggling and interacting with the dogs. The ranch has set up a solid infrastructure to ensure the dogs not only receive terrific care, but each dog receives the love and support needed. I’ve been volunteering 2-1/2 years and started mentoring this year. The dogs, the people, and the overall mission has been wonderful. I was looking for an animal shelter in which to volunteer. I saw on the news that they were holding an open house. The minute I walked in I knew this was the place for me. I love the fact that it is a rescue for senior dogs. They are kept in an open area with couches and dog beds! No cages!! The volunteers are all very nice.

Visited today and was so impressed with the facility and volunteers. But the dogs, were just amazing! We made friends with some very special seniors. I can'r wait to go back to see my new 4 legged friends.♥️

I’m a new volunteer and have been really impressed with their thorough onboarding process, the easy to use app for scheduling my volunteer time, and especially how well the dogs are treated and how clean the facility is.

Beautiful place with a wonderful mission! We met Thumper who had just been rescued from near-destruction. He has a lot of life left and is now our Furever pet!
