Huron Veterinary Hospital

I happened upon this Vet through chance, thankfully. All the staff is kind, courteous and good people, always. From seeing them on simple check ups, to managing my dog's health while he was questionably ill, they have made the experiences comfortable for both me and my dog. They never hesitated with my muzzled pitbull and he had grown to be quite comfortable with them and good in muzzleless now. He's only wears it when drawing blood and such. I highly recommend Hurin Veterinary Clinic if you can get on their case load!

We saw Dr. McEwan today after moving to Massachusetts from California, and wow. I've never had a vet be so thorough, thoughtful, and informative. After reviewing our 5-month old pup's records with me, Dr. McEwan spent a solid 10-15 minutes answering questions and giving me breed-specific training advice. For example, when doodles grow up, they often hate getting their paws touched, so Dr. McEwan explained how to desensitize/train our labradoodle for nail cutting. Truly above and beyond care, and our pup had a great time at the vet. 11/10 would recommend.

It can be so hard to find a vet to trust with the care of your pet. We lucked out with Huron, as they were one of the first places we visited and we could not have found anywhere better. We love every vet here, as well as the fantastic support staff. They are knowledgeable, skilled, and truly empathetic. The take great care of our little guy, and they do fantastic education to help us be the best owners we can be. If you’re able to make this place your vet, you absolutely should.

I’m very happy bringing my dog to Huron Vet! We switched to Huron because of proximity with their new location, but are very glad we made the switch. We found a lump on our dog and they were able to get us an appointment the same day, and get her in for surgery the day after. The vet and vet techs did a great job explaining everything and providing us with options. My dog is also reactive and they are great with making sure we can get into a room while we wait for our appointment. I’ve already recommended to several friends to try out this vet!

My cats have received excellent care from three of the vets at Huron since 2019. Yesterday, I made a last minute appointment as I realized my senior cat likely needed to be euthanized. Dr Ulrich and all of the staff we interacted with provided a positive and supportive experience. I am grateful and continue to recommend this practice.
