I can't say enough nice things about this place and the staff. I came here to put my 15 yr. old pitbull down because she was suffering. From the moment I checked in the young man at the front desk was so kind and spoke to me with compassion in his voice. The young lady in the back that assisted us with Princess was very sweet, kind, & professional. She didn't rush us or make us feel uncomfortable. Thank you all for everything you do!

Like all Humane Societies, it's unfortunate that the amount of dogs at the facility is crowded which leads to euthanizing the dogs. I saw plenty of workers and caregivers there that are willing and caring, and give as much information about the dogs to the potential buyers. I would definitely go back.

My puppy got spayed here in December and i absolutely loved the service. Place is very clean and professional. She had a fast and a great recovery. Definitely recommend. They take great care of pets 🐾❤️

I am eternally grateful for HSSB neutering my bunny Nebula years ago. The took good care of him and allowed his companion Galaxy to stay with him, which is incredibly important for rabbits. My 25 year old cat's kidney's shut down and she lost bowel control. I could not afford euthanasia fees in my rural area. Over the phone I was treated with exceptional compassion especially when I broke down and cried. A gentleman named Eric Cross went way beyond the call to accommodate me. He let me email vet records to him and he printed them out for me so I could prove she is my cat as per policy. Everything I describe above makes the euthanasia of my cat unpleasantly surprising. When I first walked in, I noticed it was very clean. The staff was very friendly, very organized, and very calm. Which was great. I had all 4 of my cats neutered there, and all went very well. I highly recommend going here. I lost a cat from some where else, so I was questioning everything. They updated me on every step. I won't take my pets any where else.
