We adopted the two most adorable cats! They staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The facility is clean. The adoption fees are very reasonable. We had a fantastic selection to choose from, and they really tried to match you with the perfect fur baby.
Overall, I had a positive experience adopting my cat. The only rock in the shoe was a staff woman named Beverly Press who gave me and my family very unwelcoming energy since the start of our visit to the end. Other that that, the facility is staffed with kind and helpful members, such as Sara who made our adoption process run smoothly.
We lost our sweet baby Khalessi unexpectedly a few weeks ago. We were heartbroken, still are but we needed to fill the void pretty quickly. Nothing will ever replace her but we went to the Humane Society of Westchester the very next day to find our new feline babies. I called and they told me to fill out an application online and make an appointment. We did that and got an appointment the next day. We were so impressed and happy as soon as we walked in the door. The staff was extremely friendly and right away let us into the room with all the kittens. There were about 15 or so kittens in there and a few older cats. The room was really big and clean so they had loads of room to run around and play. We must have been in there for almost an hour trying to decide. We ended up picking two kitte
I wanted to tell everybody how wonderful the people are at the Humane Society of New Rochelle NY , They have an immaculate facility , with an outdoor meet & greet area for bonding with your doggy that is great space . We adopted " Tallulah " a 55 pound Labradoodle girl , who is now my best friend ! Thank you Humane Society for being wonderful !
The Humane Society of Westchester is such an amazing place! I adopted my amazing Pomeranian here in March of 2022, now named Big Mac! I want to give a special shout out to Carol & all of the amazing adoption team members! You are all amazing, thank you for helping us welcome our amazing pup Biggie to the family! 🐶
