I am only putting one star because I have to. Back in February 2025 my husband and I adopted a puppy/dog. He was 1.5years old and perfect health condition expect being way to skinny and having some diarrhea. We quickly got him to a normal weight, and got rid of the diarrhea. He was a very sweet dog, but also skittish, it took him a little while to adjust to being in a family oriented home. Things were going great til a few months ago when he started chewing on clothes or anything around his cage. The reason he was in the cage while we weren’t home was because he would tear up anything he could ahold of. Well one day he got ahold of some clothes laying next to his cage. We adopted our 1st rescue from here a year and a half ago, and our perfect fit was a 12 years old female cat, and we absolutely love her. Now almost 14 years old, she still acts like a teenager. What surprised us was the zero $ fee because of her being a senior. Especially since we think she is absolutely priceless 🐈

Took kitten to HSMC to have her spayed. Dropped her off at 8am then did breakfast at Big Boys. After that went and filled up car with cheaper gas and proceeded to take a nap in the parking lot waiting for kitty to be ready to take home. At 2pm she was ready fir the trip home. She slept and we arrived at home by 4pm. Thank for the great service kitty appreciated the surgery. No kitties in our future. We'll done.

I saw Buddy. He looked lost. He is a schnauzer. He is about 7 years of age. I was connected with the foster person and we made arrangement to meet 3 days later. Very happy about my experience with Midland humane society.
