They were awesome I adopted a wonderful Boxer...now name Kapone he was healthy and clean!!! Very nice place...thank you to the wonderful staff!!! Love my Dog Kapone!!!He loves it here and will have a wonderful life!!!

LOVE, LOVE the woman named Julie here, we just adopted a dog last week, and he is the perfect fit for our family, they take care of all of their shots, flees, etc. and only ask for a small fee to adopt! Thank you Julie for being so nice, explaining everything to us, and taking your time to meet with us...God Bless !

I called about seeing a young pup and went to visit her. I have a hurt knee and have been using a cane on rough surfaces. I sat down so I could hug the little pup. I kept calling about picking her up and no response. When I finally got a response, it said I wasn’t a good match because the pup might trip me. Now I honestly think I am smart enough to know if I could handle that pup, but I guess not. I bought puppy food, doggie bed, and a big crate. It wouldn’t be donated to Jackson County.

We adopted our sweet boy Moose in January from Jackson County Humane Society. The process was smooth and easy and we would adopt again from Jackson County! Where some animal shelters are hard to get ahold of, Jackson County always responded quickly and timely. We are so lucky to have Moose in our lives.

Jackson County Humane Society and Julie are a great asset to the community. We have adopted from JCHS for 20 years, and see the time and love they offer the rescues that come into their care. I am grateful that we have this resource for the community, and I hope that more county funding is allocated to it and more individuals contribute, too. Thank you, JCHS, for your service to those who cannot speak for themselves.
