We went to the facility looking to adopt a cat. The facility initially seemed a little cramped and small but the cats and the rooms/spaces were EXTREMELY well maintained. You could go into the individual rooms where it might have 4 cats to interact with them. What was truly the most amazing part of the visit was the staff who knew the cats and the personalities so well, that we were able to hone down on a few select cats that would be a good fit for our family. Some of my family thought checking out a larger facility would be better and so we went to Doral afterwards to the animal shelter and to be honest, it's a nice massive facility but I have to say the the Humane Society was actually better maintained and the cozier rooms really let you better interact with the cats. A week ago my husband showed me a picture of a kitty he found on the humane society's website. The next morning I headed over there with my toddler to meet the kitty and bring him home. My toddler was so excited on the way home and could not wait to show the rest of the family that we got a kitty. The 1st night I woke up in the middle of the night to find the kitty sleeping on me. I would say he adjusted quickly to us. Everyone was very nice during the adoption process. The process was very quick and easy. It was my 1st time adopting and I was impressed to see how the animals are kept there. Looks like a mini hotel for them. I totally recommend!

They were really sweet, we went for vaccines but she’s still too young. They taught us how to feed her (cause she wasn’t eating and we were worried, turns out she was just ready to eat slurry) they also taught us how to properly stimulate her to use the bathroom. It was super helpful and they ladies were genuinely so kind it was my first time coming here as a pet owner and it was extremely pleasant. 10/10 recommend

Friendly volunteers and sweet pets. We take our kids here as a diversion for them and the staff is patient with them. Great place to find a pet (it's where we found our kitty Azul).

I rescued my cat Winston from here and Kiana was the best help! She gave us amazing advice on how to introduce him to our cat and dog at home. Everyone was so sweet and you can tell how much they care about the animals there ☺️
