The staff at Humane Society of Dickson County are so kind, respectful and helpful. You can tell they truly love the animals. If you have been wanting to find a fun way to volunteer to the community, this is a great place to start. If you want to find a great charitable organization to donate to, this is an amazing place to start.

The people here are great and you can tell they really love and care about these animals. There are a lot of dogs and cats that need homes and this is a great place to adopt or foster a pet. We adopted an amazing dog yesterday and could not be happier.

Super quick and easy used the pet finder app before going in so we already knew which 2 Fur babies we were leaving west. And they got us in and out in like an hour it was it was really great in the the young man that took care of us. I adopted a cat December 17th named Maybelline. I was told she was 2 years old. That she is healthy. Before I met her I wanted to see another cat . Called that morning about Bella. They didnt say anything about her being sick. A lady took us there in their isolation area to get her. She was very thin and they said she had upper respiratory infection and she is on meds for 21 days. They said if we wanted her they would supply the medication. I declined. The only reason this place is not getting a 1 star is because they were good to us when we adopted our fur baby 5 years ago. Now our furbaby has passed and we were looking to get another one. Boyfriend found one online that we wanted to see. He called them and told them we had another dog and cats . They told him this dog was not good with cats but they could put him in the cat room to make sure and we could bring in our other dog to meet said dog. Get there on a Saturday morning told woman at desk which dog we was there to see she said she would have someone bring him up. We waited at least 30 mins. Front desk woman had went to another office or something but sent someone else out to tell us we could not meet the dog we had came to meet cause we had cats. She was very rude. Why co
